Description

Draw with nature, as if you'd picked up a stone and started coloring. Colorgem is a set of mineral-like waxes that explores the metaphor and satisfaction of releasing color directly from burnt chalk, an apple, or granite and stones. He transformed the block in a process similar to the erosion of rocks; each sign of pressure, erosion, and wear on the edges expresses the line of the user's artistic footprints. Each wax is finished in his studio, so it may show slight signs of irregularity or breakage. Colorgem was shortlisted for the 2020 Dezeen Award. Wax packaging is handcrafted. There may be slight irregularities in the piece. Ingredients: paraffin wax, talc, pigment. Wax size: 3.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm. Made in Taiwan.

I was very happy to see Araujo & Sobrinho reopened and with excellent quality materials. Returning to the store brought back many memories from my student days. It's a landmark store and deserves to continue this beautiful tradition.
