Hanji paper in the hands of two sisters
HANADURI is a multidisciplinary craft and design studio in Seoul, founded by twin sisters. The name combines the Korean words for one, hana, and two, duri.
Its material of choice is hanji, the traditional Korean paper with more than a thousand years of history. The GugimFolio notebooks use gugim, a technique in which two sheets of damp hanji are crumpled by hand, making the paper stronger and more flexible.
