Although ink cartridges are particularly popular today, the piston mechanism allows ink to be drawn directly from the bottle into the integrated ink chamber of the fountain pen. This makes ink cartridges obsolete.
The Kaweco Sport Piston Filler is one of the smallest in terms of size and ink volume. This is possible due to its clever and compact mechanism. The iconic pocket fountain pen measures only 10.5 cm when closed and reaches an average size of 13 cm with the cap attached. Thanks to its small size, the pen is ideal for taking everywhere and ensures a long and pleasant writing experience.
The transparent ink window allows you to monitor the ink level at all times. If the ink runs out, the piston can be refilled quickly and easily thanks to the exceptionally smooth filling mechanism. This filling system also allows the use of inks in an unsurpassed variety of colours, as many ink colours are only sold in bottles.
The matte, anodised surface of the robust aluminium body is highly durable and gives the pen a high-quality feel.
