Description

The HAKOAKE 2 Way by KOKUYO is a pair of portable scissors with two functions: it cuts like ordinary scissors and, with a sliding mechanism, becomes a box opener in a single movement.

The titanium-coated stainless steel blades stay sharp for longer. In box-opening mode, a side channel cuts through tape without touching the contents of the package. Closed, it measures 115 mm and weighs 38 g, so it fits in a pencil case, a bag or a backpack.

About the brand

Since 1905, in Osaka

KOKUYO was founded in 1905 in Osaka by Zentaro Kuroda, who started by making covers for Japanese account books. The name combines the characters for country and honour: the wish to be the pride of his home region.

In 1975 it launched the Campus notebooks. Today it makes notebooks, pencil cases and office supplies designed down to the last detail, for studying and working.
