Description

KUNISAWA's sumi-zome fabric is carefully woven on a shuttle loom, which prevents excessive tension on the threads, resulting in a high-density, extremely durable weave. Over the years, the natural texture and color of the material can be appreciated, as it ages elegantly and gains personality with use.

The traditional binchotan charcoal dyeing technique, known as "sumi-zome", gives the fabric an impressive texture reminiscent of Japanese washi paper. Thanks to the special steam dyeing method, the surface remains soft to the touch. This charcoal dyeing process is one of the traditional techniques recorded in classical Japanese literature, with origins dating back to the Kamakura era, almost 750 years ago.

This stylish ring binder cover combines artisanal sophistication with modern functionality. Designed to be practical for daily use, it features a 6-hole system compatible with various refills available on the market. The design is finished with a secure snap button and an integrated pen holder, ensuring your notes are always organized.
