Description

The PENCO Sketch Book B6 Medium is a sketchbook with ring binding and covers letterpress-printed in two colours. A slight ink bleed and small shifts in the printing plate give each cover a texture of its own and a relaxed finish.

The HS Painting King paper, off-white with a rough texture, is absorbent and dries quickly, for watercolour, crayons and coloured pencils. The surface is tough and stands up to an eraser. The back cover gives firm support when drawing with the book in your hand.

This is the standard-thickness version, 121 g/m². There is also a thick version, 157 g/m².

PENCO was born in 1999 in Fukuoka, Japan, as HIGHTIDE's main brand. It started with a single American ballpoint pen, which gave it its name: Penco, from Pen Company.

It combines American vintage spirit with European design in practical objects with a nostalgic touch: clips, clipboards, rulers, scissors and pencils for the desk.
