Description

The Utility Knife Black is a PENCO pocket utility knife with a retractable blade and a ball chain. The blade slides out at the push of a button and its length adjusts to two positions, so you can open a box without cutting what is inside.

The zinc and steel body is compact, made to hang by the front door or in the DIY corner, close at hand for opening post and cardboard boxes. Replacement blades are sold separately (DR007).

It is a blade: keep it retracted and out of the reach of children. The chain is decorative and does not make it safe to carry.

Everyday stationery, with memories

PENCO was born in 1999 in Fukuoka, Japan, as HIGHTIDE's main brand. It started with a single American ballpoint pen, which gave it its name: Penco, from Pen Company.

It combines American vintage spirit with European design in practical objects with a nostalgic touch: clips, clipboards, rulers, scissors and pencils for the desk.
