Description

The YSTUDIO Glamour Evolve Ocean Sustainable Rollerball Pen is made with nylon from recovered fishing nets, combined with brass and aluminium alloy. According to the brand, the recycled nylon cuts carbon emissions by around 83%.

Its design is inspired by the ripples of the sea. It is created in Taiwan, the raw materials are EU RoHS and REACH certified and meet the GRS recycling standard. It comes with a black Schmidt 888F refill.

The brass at the front oxidises over time, which is harmless; brass oil brings the shine back. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and alcohol.

Brass that keeps the marks of time

YSTUDIO was born in Taiwan in 2012 as a small two-person studio. It designs and makes writing instruments and desk objects in Taiwan, built on the idea that simplicity in design is of great value.

In the Brassing series, solid brass is coated in black paint that wears away with daily use to reveal the metal beneath. Each piece takes on the marks of the person who uses it.
